Took part in the Hotel's Inter-Department Bowling tournment with 3 other colleagues. We participated for the fun of it, basically, to fill up the empty slots.

We started off pretty well and was ranked 4th out of 21 teams in the first game. It suddenly dawned upon us that we should target to work towards being 3rd so that we can go home with a cute little trophy. For game number 2 , we were ranked 3rd! We all thought "hey, it is quite possible to get that trophy if we play consistently for the 3rd game". And we played our best - Overtook the rest and won emerged champion! We led by more than 70 points from the runner-up!

Once again, this reaffirms my belief that sometimes, it is good not to have high expectations. The win was a bonus. Its been so long since I last received a trophy and the feeling was sweet. It reminds me of my younger days when I was in competitive sports.

And Dearie say to keep the trophy for our cupboard.. I highly don't think so though. Its sitting on my office cabinet right now.
