Treated Godma, Mum and Jaz to lunch at Jack's Place today. Its bonus day today!

Went to IKEA today to shop for new bedroom furnitures. Tested numerous beds and mattresses and shortlisted some. Will continue to look out for these in other places before I make the final decision prior to month end. Our progress packages will pay for our furnitures.

Check out my dinner! Its been so long since I had chilli BBQ stingrays and sotongs .. and the avocado drinks!!!! I wish the have a stall that sells avocado drinks in Tampines...

Didn't manage to get a one-to-one photo with her.. waiting for the group photo to be sent to me from our marcoms department. She is so obliging, attending to all the photo and siganture requests and always smiling. Left such a deep inpression.

Dearie said that he wants to buy a Winnie the Pooh Suit for his baby next time.. the full suit completed with head gear. He will then bring his baby to Orchard Road so that people on the street will all look at baby pooh, pinch his cheeks and repeatedly say "so cute!"!!!
In case the baby is lost and found by the shopping mall, the annoucement will be "Winnie the Pooh found, can the parents please proceed to the information counter." .. thats another crazy idea of his!
Its Easter today and the mass in church was beautiful.

Father asked the children today - "If God were to appear before you, what will you ask Him?"
One kid replied "Did you have a good night sleep?" The congregation broke into laughter.
Another kid raised her hand and said "Are you having a good time in heaven?". Again, the congregation laughed loudly. Kids... what joy they bring, such innocent and unpretentious replies.

At some point during the celebration, there were tears of joy for me. I thank God for the many wonderful blessings I receive each day.

I am thankful that I have a family whom I can talk to. I know of some people, who never have a proper conversation with their family.

I am thankful for my friends. We need not meet all the time, but the bond is always there.

I am thankful for Dave, he has so much love to give, so much that that it makes me want to be a better person and to share this love with many others.

Had lunch with mum, Jaz and Annie at Sakae Sushi. It was Annie's treat as it is her birthday tomorrow. (Thought should be the other way round.. hmm..)

The rest of the day was spent getting myself mentally prepared for the new week ahead.. its going to be a busy Monday with the LG Launch and LYA's arrival. I wish the weekend will never end, i wish I'll get a break soon.

Went to Szechuan Court for tim sum today, an advance birthday lunch for mum. I've always enjoy the deep fried mushroom wrapped in bacon item and thought I should make that some day.
Not too sure why but these days, its seems that I have a much greater interest in cookery more than anything else. As I was eating the barley and beancurd skin dessert, I thought about cooking it too. Mum said grandma cooked that for her very often when she was expecting as it is good for the baby... Jaz said "Like that must ask uncle Dave to cook this for you regularly next time!"
After lunch , we went to Marina Square - my first since its opening. The food court overlooks the waterfront and has a much better view than any of the other restaurants in the mall. There ise also a good selection of stalls and different cuisines, will definitely go there more often ...

Its great to sit down and remember, but first we must create memories...
Dearie likes the above phrase from the movie, An Affair to Remember, me too! He didn't share the movie with me though... watched it by himself.. he said that I don't like oldies.. Will make sure I catch this some time soon.

While in a cruise from Europe to New York, the disputed playboy Nicky Ferrante (Cary Grant) meets the gorgeous former night-club singer Terry McKay (Deborah Kerr) and they have a romance. Nicky is traveling to meet his fiancée, the inheritor of one of the greatest fortunes in USA, and Terry is returning to the arms of her supportive boy-friend. They schedule a meeting on the 102nd floor of the Empire State Building six months later to decide whether they should marry each other, but Terry has an accident and she is not able to reunite with him.
